Atlantic County Sheriffs Office and LoJack Corporation
Announce Partnership to Combat Auto Theft

 When:             Monday, July 28, 2008, 11am

 What:              Sheriff James McGettigan of the Atlantic County Sheriffs Office and representatives for LoJack Corporation will speak at an event that officially launches the availability of the LoJack Stolen Vehicle Recovery Network (SVRN) in the area. The LoJack System is the only stolen vehicle recovery system that is directly integrated into law enforcement agencies to assist police officers track and recover stolen vehicles.

                        The event will provide media with the opportunity to:

·        hear from local officials about the fight against auto theft

·        learn about the stolen vehicle recovery network from LoJack representatives and law enforcement personnel

·        participate in a demonstration by riding in patrol vehicles that will test track a LoJack-equipped vehicle 

The demonstration will provide an excellent opportunity to interview and photograph law enforcement representatives who are actively using the LoJack system.  Media packets and fact sheets will be provided at the event.
