This site, brought on-line March 5, 1996 made the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office the FIRST Sheriff's Office in the State of New Jersey to go "On-Line", in an effort to make information and resources more readily available to the general public. In June of 2002 we upgraded our web service, adding more extensive information and direct e-mail links to various departments within the Sheriff's Office. There's a new
(Under) Sheriff in Town Atlantic County Sheriff, Jim McGettigan, is pleased to
announce that Reginald S. Floyd will serve in the position of
Undersheriff. His appointment will take effect at a
swearing in ceremony today January 4, 2008, at 4pm at the Atlantic County Office
