This site, brought on-line March 5, 1996 made the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office the FIRST Sheriff's Office in the State of New Jersey to go "On-Line", in an effort to make information and resources more readily available to the general public.

In June of 2002 we upgraded our web service, adding more extensive information and direct e-mail links to various departments within the Sheriff's Office.
